Have you ever found yourself wanting to interact with other people and getting to know what is happening around you ? I am an adolescent very keen in being active in society and voicing out my opinion to bring change.
About Myself:
My name is Alessia Pulis, and I am starting this blog for my Journalism class. The blog entries that will be published in the upcoming weeks will reflect my past, present and future experiences and activities of my everyday life. I am an 18-year old teen and currently attending the University of Malta. It is my first year of studies and the course that I am taking is European Studies (Hons) with Communication Studies. As a teen I have a personal interest in politics, debates, travelling, student activism and organisations.
About the Blog:
The decision to choose this topic for my blog was taken due to my previous and current experiences and roles that I have taken part in and those roles, events that I am currently active in. The content will be mainly an elaboration of any activities about the aforementioned interests. I will be updating this blog weekly, with every blog entry I will be giving an account to what I am taking part. A current role I am taking is that of International Coordinator with JEF Malta. Some activities I took part in include Euroscola and the National Youth Parliament.
Apart of giving an account of my experiences the purpose of the blog will provide an evaluation of any topics or issues being discussed during the events.
Why choosing "Springtime of Life"?
The significance behind the title of the blog is very simple. "Springtime of Life" is significant for the period of youth or adolescence. Since the blog entries will be about my youth activism I found this blog title to be appropriate.
